SAFE CHURCH COMMITTEE
The Synod Safe Church Committee is charged with:
a. Serve the church (Presbyteries and Synod) by providing oversight of all Safe Church processes.
b. Ensure that all relevant people receive information in respect to matters related to complaints and the discipline of members of the Uniting Church.
c. Promote a Safe Church culture across the Presbyteries and Synod.
UCA NATIONAL REDRESS
UCA Redress Ltd is a company that has been established by the Uniting Church in Australia to be the national body for the Uniting Church to respond to, and provide support for, children and vulnerable persons who have suffered abuse at the hands of the Uniting Church or its institutions, including by participation in a nationally consistent equitable redress scheme.
